A cycle-pedestrian path all over Liguria: a dream that is coming true.
A big step was taken today, 22 April 2023, with the inauguration of the connection between Imperia and San Lorenzo al mare.
This means that now it is possible to cover the entire cycle/pedestrian path from Imperia to Ospedaletti without interruptions: 28 km. by the sea, surrounded by greenery and in the total absence of vehicular traffic.

Let’s start from the western end of Imperia, Borgo Prino: a small and charming village overlooking the sea, characterized by typical fishermen’s houses and with many attractions: the most popular restaurants in Imperia, the beaches, beautiful bars and games for children. From here starts the cycle/pedestrian path which crosses San Lorenzo al mare, Santo Stefano al mare, Riva Ligure, Arma di Taggia, Bussana and Sanremo and arrives uninterrupted up to Ospedaletti.

Are you staying at Residence La Carruba and want to take a nice walk or run or a ride on the new cycle/pedestrian path? Very simple.

By car, in about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Borgo Prino, where you will find large parking areas, and from here you can take the cycle path directly.

If you have your own bike, you’re already set, but if you want to rent it, you can find here the first bike rent poin Nolobici – nolobici.it – There are eight of it along the entire route, in each of which you can drop off or pick up a bike. So you can choose your path independently in each moment.

Don’t want to go by car? No problem, 200 meters far from Residence La Carruba there is the bus stop for the Andora-Sanremo line – rivieratrasporti.it – which takes you directly to Borgo Prino.

Cycling, running, walking, the song of the sea, clean air and a breathtaking view: what more could you want? For example: aperitif and live jazz music in the evening.

Such a place has a thousand resources to amaze, amuse and excite anyone.
